On Episode #1 of Zacks Tech Talk Tuesdays, Content Writer Ryan McQueeney explored the rumor that Apple will be using wireless charging in its upcoming iPhone 8.
While all signs point to the iPhone 8 having some level of wireless charging computability, Ryan pointed out how many investors have established a link between Apple and Energous Corporation WATT , a developer of new, advanced wireless charging technologies.
Ryan remained skeptical as to whether Energous will be able to deliver its proposed wireless charger with a 15-foot range in time to make it in the iPhone 8, but he was willing to applaud Energous for their potentially world-changing design.
