Introducing Five New Filters to the All-in-One Screener

After receiving such positive feedback about our July update to the GuruFocus All-in-One Screener, we've decided to take the 120-filter tool a bit further by adding five more handy functions that our very own members suggested.

Ultimately, our goal is to help our users in generating investment ideas and strategies. As our membership continues to grow, so do our tools and features. We are always welcoming ideas, suggestions and ways to improve and expand our services.

Please take a moment to experience the new and improved All-in-One Screener . The descriptions of the new features are below.

Institutional Ownership

What percentage of a company is owned by mutual funds, hedge funds, investment banks, insurance companies and other large entities? This function provides the option for members to input their own desired percentage range for institutional ownership to see which companies meet the criteria.

Insider Ownership

What percentage of a company is owned by CEOs, directors, 10% owners and other company insiders? This filter gives the option to place a percentage range for insider ownership, to see which companies have its senior officers in the majority seat, or the minority seat.

Price to Tangible Book

Another valuation ratio tool, the Price to Tangible Book Value filter lets users choose from 0 to 10, seeing which companies have a PTBV that fall within the range.

Warning Signs

GuruFocus Warning Signs have been great indicators of a stock's red flags. It is an exceptional feature to look for to avoid overlooking stock qualities that might prompt an investor to do further researching. These warning signs do not necessarily mean you should not invest in the stock, but you should be aware of them before you invest. Of course, the more the warning signs, the more you need to be aware. The new Warning Signs feature on the All-in-One Screener allows users to input a range for the number of Warning Signs in a stock. (Feel free to read more about Warning Signs .)

Good Signs

As with Warning Signs, the GuruFocus Good Signs feature is similarly designed, but instead reveals the positive aspects of a stock that investors should consider. The more the Good Signs, the better. The new feature on the All-in-One Screener enables users to place a range for how many Good Signs they want in a stock.

Let us know what you think about our new features on the All-in-One Screener . As always, we look forward to another full year of serving more of yourinvestment newsand research needs, and we thank you for your continued support!
