March 6 (Reuters) - Aon Plc said on Wednesday it does not intend to pursue a merger with rival insurance brokerage Willis Towers Watson Plc.
The decision comes a day after Aon said it was in early stages of considering an all-stock offer to Willis Towers.
Aon did not give any specific reason for abandoning the potential deal.
