Husky Energy Off Day's Low; Investigation Continues into Collision at White Rose Oilfield
Husky Energy Inc (HSE.TO) shares are off their lows of the day, climbing back within 16 cents of even today at $23.00 a share with the oil and gas producer reporting that a Transocean rig working for the company in the White Rose oilfield off Newfoundland collided with a supply ship, damaging both vessels.
The company said the ships were damaged above the water-line but said there were no serious injuries or environmental damage as a result of the mishap. A company spokeswoman told Reuters she did not know if the incident will delay Husky's expansion plans at White Rose.
