Hertz Global Holdings Inc ( HTZ ) stock was down on Monday following an update to its earnings expectations.
Hertz said that it's now expecting to report earnings per share for 2016 between 95 cents and $1.10 . Wall Street is expecting the company to report EPS of 1.05 for the current year.
The company also reported that it's expecting U.S. car rental revenue for Q1 to be down 2.5% to 3.5% when compared to the same time last year. It's expecting U.S. car rental revenue for the full year of 2016 to be flat to 1.5%, which is down from its previous range of 1.5% to 2.5%, from the year prior.
Hertz is still expecting full-year 2016 adjusted Corporate EBITDA to be between $1.6 billion and $1.7 billion despite decreases in revenue and EPS expectations.
HTZ shares were down 6% as of Monday morning.
