Helio Resource Corp (HRC.V), a gold exploration company, today reported its final assay results from diamond drilling at the Gold Kop target, part of the Damara Gold Project in central Namibia.

A total of 5 diamond drill holes (484m) are reported; OJD8 to OJD12. These holes were all drilled northwards to test the southwards-dipping dolomite-calc marble contact. Today's reported results, together with previously released data, demonstrate the clear potential of the Gold Kop target to host a very large mineralised system similar to that present at Navachab, the company said in a statement.

Helio is currently trading at 33 cents, up from Friday's close of 32.5 cents. This brings it further away from its year low of 28 cents, which it hit on Aug 17. Helio traded at 70 cents on Nov 5 last year.
