Health-care shares were unchanged in pre-market trade on Friday.
In health-care stocks news, Johnson & Johnson ( JNJ ) shares were unchanged at $103.64 after Bavarian Nordic A/S said it has entered an agreement with the company's Janssen Pharmaceuticals unit for licensing and collaboration in the development of a therapeutic human papillomavirus vaccine.
Shares have traded between $81.79 and $107.39 over the past 52 weeks.
And Portola Pharmaceuticals ( PTLA ) said it has completed the submission of a Biologics License Application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its investigational agent andexanet alfa, which is designed to reverse the anticoagulant activity of both direct and indirect Factor Xa inhibitors.
Shares in the company were unchanged at $50.44 pre-bell. This is within the upper band of the stock's 52 week range between $26.26 and $57.96.
