In health-care stocks news, Horizon Pharma ( HZNP ) said its Horizon Pharma Switzerland unit has reached a settlement and license agreement with Actavis Laboratories (ACT) to resolve pending patent litigation involving RAYOS Delayed-Release Tablets for rheumatoid arthritis patients.
Shares in Horizon Pharma were 3.9% lower at $19.56 pre-bell. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $10.15 and $39.49.
HealthSouth ( HLS ), an owner and operator of in-patient rehabilitation hospitals, late Thursday said it has completed acquiring Reliant Hospital Partners for approximately $730 million in cash.
Shares in the company were unchanged at $36.90 pre-bell. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $36.38 and $48.37.
And Cellectar Biosciences, Inc. ( CLRB ), a biopharmaceutical company, said Friday that it has closed its registered direct offering of 1 million shares of common stock and series B pre-funded warrants to purchase 482,728 shares of common stock at a price of $2.20 per share.
