Health-care shares were generally unchanged in pre-market trade Thursday.

In health-care stocks news, clinical stage biopharmaceutical company Acceleron Pharma ( XLRN ) presented data from preclinical studies on its ACE-083 and ACE-2494 compounds that showed increases in muscle mass.

Shares in the company were unchanged at $24.90 pre-bell. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $20 and $48.50.

BiondVax Pharmaceuticals Ltd. ( BVXV ) said it has entered into a Development and Manufacturing Agreement for the production of clinical batches of its universal flu vaccine, M-001, with Cytovance Biologics Inc., a contract manufacturing organization, based in Oklahoma, USA.

Shares in the company were flat at $3.67 pre-bell. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $3.28 and $5.78.

And biopharmaceutical company Apricus Biosciences, Inc ( APRI ) has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Ferring Pharmaceuticals to market Vitaros, a topical on-demand product for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in Latin American countries.
