Top Health Care Stocks
Health care stocks have turned solidly positive this afternoon, with the NYSE Health Care Index climbing to a 0.3% gain, reversing an earlier decline, while shares of health care companies in the S&P 500 were up 0.3% as a group.
In company news, Ritter Pharmaceuticals ( RTTR ) shares sprang to big gain on Monday after the specialty drugmaker said it has completed enrolling patients for Phase IIb/III testing of its RP-G28 investigational compound to treat lactose intolerance.
Topline results of the new trial should be available early next year, the company said.
RTTR shares were up 9% in recent trade at $1.40 apiece after earlier climbing to a session high of $1.50 a share.
