In health care stocks news, Kamada ( KMDA ) was down 26% after it said it has withdrawn its marketing authorization application ( MAA ) with the European Medicines Agency (EMA) for its Alpha-1 Antitrypsin therapy to treat Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. The company said following extensive discussions with the EMA, it concluded the EMA does not view the data submitted as sufficient for approval of the MAA, and that the supplementary data needed for approval requires an additional clinical trial.
