Health-care shares were mixed in pre-market trade on Thursday.

In health-care stocks news, Sagent Pharmaceuticals ( SGNT ) said it has agreed to acquire five abbreviated new drug applications in the U.S. from Teva Pharmaceutical Industries ( TEVA ) for $40 million.

Shares in Sagent were unchanged at $14.26 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $10.55 and $26.47 over the past 52 weeks.

And Capricor Therapeutics ( CAPR ) said that preliminary 12-month data were positive from its DYNAMIC clinical trial, which evaluated CAP-1002 in patients with advanced heart failure.

Shares in the company were 20% higher at $4.98 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $1.88 and $5.74 over the past 52 weeks.
