Health-care shares were mainly lower in pre-market trade on Tuesday.

In health-care stocks news, pharmaceutical company Cardiome Pharma ( CRME ) has entered into a term loan agreement with CRG-managed funds that provides Cardiome with up to $30 million of available borrowing capacity.

Shares in the company were flat at $4.85 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $3.70 and $10.40 over the past 52 weeks.

And Novogen ( NVGN ) said Tuesday that a patent for the ATM-3500 series had been granted in Australia.The ATM-3500 series includes the investigational agent known as Anisina, which is a novel class of anti-cancer agents known as anti-tropomyosins that selectively target an essential structural component of the cancer cell, causing cell death and tumor reduction in experimental models.

Shares in the company were flat at $2.04 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $1.79 and $5.35 over the past 52 weeks.
