In health-care stocks news, Minerva Neurosciences ( NERV ), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company, reported Tuesday that for Q1, its loss per share narrowed from the prior-year period, and beat analysts' estimates.
Shares in the company were unchanged at $6.32 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $4.27 and $6.50 over the past 52 weeks.
And Neuralstem ( CUR ), a developer of central nervous system therapies based on its neural stem cell technology, Tuesday reported it priced an offering of 20 million share at $0.40, and also 20 million warrants at $0.40 per share, for a gross capital raise of $8 million.
Shares in the company were 39.8% lower at $0.36 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $0.52 and $2.37 over the past 52 weeks.
