Health-care shares were mainly unchanged in pre-market trade on Tuesday.

In health-care stocks news, ADRs of GlaxoSmithKline ( GSK ) were edging higher pre-market Tuesday after Japanese authorities granted marketing authorization for Nucala as a treatment for bronchial asthma in patients with refractory asthma.

ADRs were 0.2% higher at $39.61 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $37.24 and $48.45 over the past 52 weeks.

ContraVir Pharmaceuticals Inc ( CTRV ) shares were higher in recent pre-market trade after the company said that results from a third party in vitro study validates the company's CMX157 drug as a "highly potent anti-hepatitis B drug."

Shares were 31.5% higher at $1.96 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $0.76 and $6.28 over the past 52 weeks.
