Guyana Frontier Fires CEO, Appoints New President & CEO; Shall Fall 14% to Yr Low

Guyana Frontier Mining Corp. (GYG.V) has fired its CEO Warren Stanyer and appointed Evangelos (Gelly) Gnissios as the new President and Chief Executive Officer for the Company, effective December 31, 2012. Mr. Gnissios is currently the Corporate Secretary for Guyana Frontier and is a member of the Board of Directors. He has served as Chief Financial Officer for Guyana Frontier since July 1, 2012; the Company is actively searching for a replacement Chief Financial Officer.

Stanyer, who was re-elected to the board on Dec 24, 2012, has resigned from the Board of Directors of the Company. Guyana Frontier gave no reason for the termination.
