Friday's Google Doodle (NASDAQ: GOOG ,NASDAQ: GOOGL ) honors Sigmund Freud.
Arguably one of the most revolutionary psychologists the world has ever seen, Freud attempted to explain the world through psychology. The Google Doodle shows Freud's mind underwater with his face above the surface, and a steam ship passing by.
The Austrian is credited with bringing psychoanalysis to the public, which has made quite an impact in the way we view the world but is often discarded in therapy.
Friday would've been Freud's 160th birthday.
GOOG stock is up 1.4% Friday. GOOGL stock is up 1.5%.
