Goldeye Stakes Additional Ground Rich In Gold History; Stock Price Stable

Goldeye Explorationa Limited (GGY.V), a Canadian gold-focused exploration company today said it staked an additional 24 claims containing 290 units and covering 47 square kilometers in the historical Gold Rock Mining Camp about 50 kilometers southwest of Dryden, Ontario.

The claims cover a 10 kilometre long section of the greenstone belt hosting the majority of the past gold producers and gold occurrences in the area. According to the company, the gold deposits and occurrences are closely related to the regional Manitou Straits Fault which also traverses the Goldeye ground.

The Goldeye claim block is located between and adjoining the Gaffney Extension property of Manitou Gold to the south and the Harper Lake, Mosher Bay and Big Master properties of Manitou Gold to the north. Recent drilling by Manitou Gold has returned several significant gold intersections on the Gaffney Extension and the Big Master properties, Goldeye said in its statement.

Goldeye shares are holding at 3.5 cents, after opening at 4 cents. It touched a year low of 2.5 cents on Oct 11.
