Goldex Resources Corp Adds Nearly Quarter in Value, But No Apparent Fresh News; May Reflect Gold Prices

Goldex Resources Corp (GDX.V), a Canadian TSXV listed junior resource gold exploration company prospecting for gold in the Americas, is up 2 cents at 10.5 cents and has touched 11 cents while most actively traded on the TSXV although there is no apparent fresh stock specific news around. It may be boosted by the price of bullion, which neared US$1,900 an ounce on safe-haven buying.

The company on August 17 announced preliminary assay results from the first seven of twelve diamond drill holes on its flagship El Pato property in Guatemala.
