FXU, LGLV: Big ETF Inflows

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the First Trust Utilities AlphaDEX Fund ( FXU ), which added 6,900,000 units, or a 31.2% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of FXU, in morning trading today Scana Corporation ( SCG ) is up about 0.8%, and Great Plains Energy ( GXP ) is up by about 0.2%.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the SPDR Russell 1000 Low Volatility ETF ( LGLV ), which added 50,000 units, for a 25.0% increase in outstanding units. Among the largest underlying components of LGLV, in morning trading today Xcel Energy ( XEL ) is up about 0.2%, and Southern Company (SO) is higher by about 0.3%.
