FS Investment Slipping After-Hours Following Q1 EPS, Investment Income Missing Street Views

FS Investment Corp ( FSIC ) was steady in Monday late trade and the specialty lender tonight reporting Q1 adjusted net investment income of $0.21 per share, down from $0.23 per share during the same quarter last year and trailing the Capital IQ consensus by $0.02 per share.

Total investment income slipped 5.2% during the quarter ended March 31 compared with the year-ago period to $103.1 million, also lagging the Street view by around $3 million.

FSIC shares were slightly lower in Monday's late session, falling 4 cents - or about 0.4% - to $9.02 apiece, adding to a 0.6 slide during today's regular market trade.
