Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: VPL

The Vanguard FTSE Pacific ETF ( VPL ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 3.1 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 310,000. Shares of VPL were off about 0.2% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Blackberry ( BBRY ), trading trading flat with over 9.7 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Nokia ( NOK ), down about 0.6% on volume of over 7.0 million shares. Goldfield ( GV ) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 5.4% on the day, while Hong Kong & China Gas (HOKCY) is lagging other components of the Vanguard FTSE Pacific ETF, trading lower by about 8.2%.
