Friday's ETF with Unusual Volume: FXR

The First Trust Industrials/Producer Durables AlphaDEX Fund ETF ( FXR ) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 568,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 190,000. Shares of FXR were off about 0.3% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were General Electric ( GE ), trading trading flat with over 6.3 million shares changing hands so far this session, and CSX ( CSX ), off about 0.5% on volume of over 4.2 million shares. Avery Dennison ( AVY ) is the component faring the best Friday, higher by about 3% on the day, while Terex ( TEX ) is lagging other components of the First Trust Industrials/Producer Durables AlphaDEX Fund ETF, trading lower by about 2.5%.
