In trading on Friday, the iShares Global Consumer Staples ETF ( KXI ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Kraft Heinz ( KHC ), up about 7.7% and shares of Colgate Palmolive ( CL ), up about 3.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the Gold Miners ETF ( GDX ), off about 1.4% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Yamana Gold ( AUY ), lower by about 9.2%, and shares of Harmony Gold Mining Limited (HMY), lower by about 5.4% on the day.
