In trading on Friday, the iShares Latin America 40 ETF ( ILF ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR.A), up about 6.6% and shares of CPFL Energia ( CPL ), up about 5.1% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the First Trust NYSE Arca Biotechnology Index Fund ETF ( FBT ), down about 0.7% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of Nektar Therapeutics ( NKTR ), lower by about 3.3%, and shares of Biomarin Pharma ( BMRN ), lower by about 2.6% on the day.
