In trading on Friday, the Junior Gold Miners ETF ( GDXJ ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 9.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Fortuna Silver Mines ( FSM ), up about 13.2% and shares of B2gold ( BTG ), up about 11.7% on the day.
And underperforming other ETFs today is the SPDR S&P Bank ETF ( KBE ), down about 3% in Friday afternoon trading. Among components of that ETF with the weakest showing on Friday were shares of East West Bancorp ( EWBC ), lower by about 5.1%, and shares of SVB Financial Group (SIVB), lower by about 5.1% on the day.
