In trading on Friday, precious metals shares were relative leaders, up on the day by about 5.1%. Leading the group were shares of First Majestic Silver ( AG ), up about 10.7% and shares of Agnico Eagle Mines ( AEM ) up about 9.6% on the day.
Also showing relative strength are drugs shares, up on the day by about 2.3% as a group, led by Xenoport ( XNPT ), trading up by about 19.4% and Cormedix ( CRMD ), trading higher by about 14.9% on Friday.
