In trading on Friday, waste management shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 2.5%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Stericycle ( SRCL ), down about 12.5% and shares of US Ecology ( ECOL ) off about 8.7% on the day.
Also lagging the market Friday are trucking shares, down on the day by about 2% as a group, led down by YRC Worldwide ( YRCW ), trading lower by about 6.3% and Werner Enterprises ( WERN ), trading lower by about 3.2%.
