First Republic Bank (FRC) Is Climbing On S&P News

(RTTNews.com) - It was announced after the close Thursday that First Republic Bank ( FRC ) will replace SCANA Corp. (SCG) in the S&P 500 index before the open of trading on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.

First Republic Bank has gapped open sharply higher Friday morning and is now up 4.98 at $88.65. The stock has jumped to over a 1-week high.
