In financial stocks news, BankFinancial ( BFIN ) said late Monday that its board of directors has approved a 1 million increase in the number of shares it may repurchase under its normal course issuer bid. The board also extended the expiration of the current program to December 31, 2016.
Shares in the company were flat at $13.00 pre-bell. This is within the upper band of the stock's 52 week trading range between $11.07 and $13.62.
And New York REIT ( NYRT ) reported on Tuesday that it will pay a $0.038 dividend per common share for January 2016, to stockholders of record Jan. 8, and payable on Jan. 15. The dividend is unchanged from the previous month. New York REIT owns income-producing commercial real estate in New York City.
Shares in the company were flat at $11.44 pre-bell. This is within the upper band of the stock's 52 week trading range between $8.87 and $11.90.
