Financial shares were mainly lower in pre-market trade on Friday.

In financial stocks news, Salisbury Bancorp ( SAL ), a bank holding company, said late Thursday that it has completed its private placement of $10 million aggregate principal amount of fixed to floating rate subordinated notes due 2025.

Shares in the company were flat at $31.45 pre-bell. This is within the upper band of the stock's 52 week trading range between $26.50 and $34.44.

And Douglas Emmett ( DEI ), a real estate investment trust, said late Thursday that it has closed a secured, non-recourse $115 million interest only loan.

Shares were flat at $29.89 pre-bell. The company has traded between $26.67 and $32.32 over the past 52 weeks.
