In financial stocks news, Canadian lender Bank of Nova Scotia ( BNS ) Tuesday reported improved results for fiscal Q4, helped by the strong performance of its Canadian and international banking businesses.
Shares in the company were 2.4% higher at $46.65 pre-bell. This is towards the lower end of the stock's 52 week trading range between $39.55 and $60.95.
Parkway Properties ( PKY ), an integrated, self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust (REIT), shares were upgraded to buy from hold by Stifel Nicolaus, with a price target set at $19.50.
Shares in the company were 1.1% higher at $17.26 pre-bell. The company has traded between $15.20 and $19.52 over the past 52 weeks.
