Top Financial Shares:
Financial shares were mixed in Tuesday's pre-market trade, as the broader market points to a lower open. Investors are looking ahead to Federal Reserve Chief Janet Yellen's speech in London, as well as data on consumer confidence and the housing market.
In financial stocks news, WhiteHorse Finance ( WHF ) was down 4.7% after it said late Monday it would sell 2.5 million shares to raise funds to invest in secured debt notes in lower middle market companies. It said two stockholders, H.I.G. Bayside Debt & LBO Fund II, L.P. and H.I.G. Bayside Loan Opportunity Fund II, L.P. plan to offer an additional 375,000 shares in the case of overallotments.
