Some major details regarding Final Fantasy XV were dropped by Square Enix on Wednesday.
It was revealed at a press event that Final Fantasy XV will be more than just a game . Square Enix also announced that there will be a spinoff anime titled Brotherhood , a CGI movie called Kingsglaive and smartphone game connected to FF XV for Alphabet Inc's ( GOOG , GOOGL ) Google Android and Apple Inc.'s ( AAPL ) iOS devices.
A new demo for Final Fantasy XV that is available to owners of Microsoft Corporation's ( MSFT ) Xbox One and Sony Corp (ADR)'s ( SNE ) PlayStation 4 is also available. The demo features a special story that won't be present in the final version of the game, which will be released on Sept. 30.
A new trailer for Final Fantasy XV was also shown off at the event. Long-time fans or the series or relative newcomers can check it out below.
