European ADRs Move Lower in Monday Trading

American Depositary Receipts of European stocks were trading 0.97% lower at 115.21 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday.

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by pharmaceutical company Oasmia Pharmaceutical ( OASM ), and software firm Talend ( TLND ), which climbed 6.6% and 4.4% respectively. They were followed by hotel booking site Trivago ( TRVG ), and biotech company Forward Pharma ( FWP ),which rose 3.9% and 2.2%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by 3D printer company Materialise ( MTLS ), and biopharmaceutical firm DBV Technologies (DBVT), which fell 6.1% and 4.9% respectively. They were followed by consumer goods company Unilever (UN), and oil company TOTAL (TOT), which dropped 1.2% and 0.8%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by Trinity Biotech (TRIB), and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX), which rose 9.8% and 6.1% respectively. They were followed by mining company Randgold Resources (GOLD), and media company Pearson (PSO), which were up 3.2% and 2.3%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by specialty pharmaceutical company Midatech Pharma (MTP), and biopharmaceutical company Amarin (AMRN), which fell 11.4% and 6.4% respectively. They were followed by biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), and gene therapy company Nightstar (NITE), which lost 3.7% and 1.8%.
