European ADRs Move Higher in Monday Trading

American depositary receipts of European stocks were trading 0.06% higher at 140.01 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Monday.

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by 3D printer company voxeljet ( VJET ), and medical equipment maker Edap ( EDAP ), which rose 6.6% and 4.6% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies Biofrontera ( BFRA ), and DBV Technologies ( DBVT ), which were up 2.7% and 1.8%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by Zealand Pharma ( ZEAL ), and telecommunications provider Telecom Italia (TI), which lost 1.2% and 2.1% respectively. Communications services provider VEON Com (VEON), and Forward Pharma (FWP), dropped 2% and 1.3%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by Motif Bio (MTFB), and gene therapy company Nightstar (NITE), which rose 6.7% and 4% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical firm NuCana (NCNA), and airplane lessor Fly Leasing (FLY), which were up 3.8% and 2%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by Verona Pharma (VRNA), and telecommunications company BT Group (BT), which fell 1.4% and 1.5%. Biotech company Shire (SHPG), and communications company WPP (WPP) dropped 1% and 0.6%.
