European ADRs Move Higher in Friday Trading

American depositary receipts of European stocks were trading 0.82% higher at 118.64 on the Bank of New York Mellon Europe ADR Index on Friday.

In continental Europe, the gainers were led by furniture maker Natuzzi ( NTZ ), which climbed 6.7%. It was followed by Deutsche Bank ( DB ) and medical equipment company Edap ( EDAP ), which rose 3.6% and 3%.

The decliners in continental Europe were led by biotech company Zealand Pharma ( ZEAL ) and 3D printer maker voxeljet ( VJET ), which fell 7.9% and 7.2% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies (DBVT) and biotech company ERYTECH Pharma (ERYP), which lost 3.8% and 3.3%.

In the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company NuCana (NCNA) and specialty pharmaceutical company Midatech Pharma (MTP), which surged 12.7% and 11.6% respectively. They were followed by biotech firm Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL) and biopharmaceutical company Verona Pharma (VRNA), which climbed 9.3% and 7.2%.

The decliners in the UK and Ireland were led by biopharmaceutical companies Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP) and Amarin (AMRN), which dropped 5% and 3.9% respectively. They were followed by mining company Randgold Resources (GOLD) and airplane leasing company Fly Leasing (FLY), which were off 2.2% and 1.1%.
