Energy shares were little changed in pre-market trading Friday, with operator Ineos' declaration of force majeure on all shipments of crude oil, natural gas and condensates through its Forties pipeline system continued to push crude higher.

Light, sweet crude oil for January delivery was up 0.2% at $57.19 per barrel, while natural gas was up fractionally at $2.71 per million Btu.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.1% at $11.44 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was up 1.9% at $5.36.

- Noble Energy ( NBL ): sells 50% stake in Cone Gathering to CNX Resources for $305 million.
