Energy Sector Update for 10/05/2015: USO, UNG, SN

Energy shares were mainly unchanged in pre-market trade Monday as crude oil futures gained.

Light, sweet crude oil for November delivery was up 0.5% at $46.05 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was up 1.1% at $1.39 per gallon while natural gas was up 0.3% at $2.40 British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.5% at $14.85. The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was unchanged at $11.28.

In other energy news, Sanchez Energy ( SN ) Monday reported a JV with Targa Resources Partners ( NGLS ) to construct a cryogenic natural gas processing plant and associated high pressure gathering pipelines near Sanchez Energy's Catarina asset in the Eagle Ford Shale region of Texas.

Shares in the company were unchanged at $6.12 pre-bell. Over the past 52 weeks, the company has traded between $4.48 and $25.36.
