Energy Sector Update for 09/11/2015: DM,ENBL,CLNE

Energy stocks were broadly lower today, with the NYSE Energy Sector Index sinking nearly 1.7% while shares of energy companies in the S&P 500 also were down 1.7% as a group. Crude oil for November delivery was down $1.20 at $45.42 per barrel while November natural gas futures were a penny higher at $2.77 per 1 million BTU.

In company news, Dominion Midstream Partners LP ( DM ) units declined Friday after the liquefied natural gas pipeline company was cut to Sell from Neutral in a downgrade today at Goldman Sachs.

Price target information for the stock was not available.

DM shares were down nearly 6% at $31.17 apiece, recovering from an earlier slide to a session low of $30.90 a share.

In other sector news,

(+) CVX, (+0.1%) Raised to Overweight from Neutral at JPMorgan, which also set an $86 price target for the stock.

(-) CLNE, (-13.8%) Co-founder T. Boone Pickens files to sell up to 3 million shares of the company's stock. CEO said Pickens "remains as bullish as ever" about CLNE and its prospects.
