Energy Sector Update for 07/11/2016: USO, UNG, GLOG

Energy shares were mainly unchanged in pre-market trade on Monday as crude oil futures slid.

Light, sweet crude oil for August delivery was down 0.2% at $45.30 per barrel. In other energy futures, heating oil was 0.3% higher at $0.85 per gallon while natural gas was 1.3% higher at $1.61 British thermal units.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was up 0.2% at $10.85 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was up 0.8% at $8.39.

In other energy news, GasLog ( GLOG ), an owner and operator of LNG carriers, said it has reached a charter deal for its Hull 2801 vessel. The deal is expected to bring in $190 million in revenue.

Shares in the company were unchanged at $13.13 pre-bell. The stock has traded between $5.24 and $21.38 over the past 52 weeks.
