Energy shares were flat to higher in pre-market trading Tuesday.

Light, sweet crude oil for April delivery was flat at $61.36 per barrel, while natural gas was up fractionally at $2.81 per million Btu.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.8% at $12.27 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was flat at $23.21.

In overseas news, Reuters reported that Saudi Arabia is weighing floating oil giant Saudi Aramco locally given its struggles with plans for an initial public offering ( IPO ) on an international exchange such as London or New York.
