Energy shares were higher in pre-market trading Wednesday. The closely followed EIA domestic oil inventories bulletin is at 10:30.

Light, sweet crude oil for March delivery was down 0.2% at $59.10 per barrel, while natural gas was up 0.1% at $2.62 per million Btu.

In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) was down 0.7% at $11.78 while the United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) was down 1.5% at $21.67.
