The major market indices were mixed on Tuesday with the Dow Jones Industrial Average buoyed by gains in the financial and energy sector, but the Nasdaq was trading lower for a second straight day due to another feeding frenzy in the tech sector.
Shares of Facebook ( FB ), Amazon ( AMZN ), Netflix ( NFLX ), and Alphabet (GOOG, GOOGL) were all trading lower with Alphabet at its lowest level in more than a week after European regulators fined the company $2.7 billion due to violation of EU anti-trust rules.
