Energizer Resources Up 3% But Almost Hits Year Low As Identifies Second Strategic Mineral

Energizer Resources Inc. (EGZ.TO) went up nearly 3% to $0.175, but almost hits year low 15 cents earlier at 17 cents, following its announcement about the exploration on the Green Giant Project in Madagascar where it has identified the presence of another mineral of potential economic significance, graphite.

The company said a number of analytical techniques have been employed to ascertain the mineralogical composition of the head-grade composite samples, which include petrographic analysis, high definition mineralogical examination by QEMSCAN, and LECO combustion assaying. A review of these analyses has identified anomalous graphitic carbon, which the company believes may be economically extractable along with vanadium.
