Endeavour Mining Corp (EDV.TO) is up 4 cents at $2.36 a share, picking up a little extra momentum after saying infill drilling at its Agbaou project in Cote d'Ivoire intersected 24 metres of 10.66 grams gold per ton as well as 10 metres of 17.06 grams gold per ton.
The miner also said work is proceeding ahead of an update to last year's Ni 43-101 resource estimate for its Ouare deposit in Burina Faso, adding it produced 41,631 ounces of gold during the first six months of 2011 -- keeping it on pace to match its 84,000-oz. guidance for the full year. Q2 results are due out Aug. 10.
