Welcome to the 12:30 ET emerging markets heat map. This afternoon we find SAP +.65% and YUM +.09% remain the only green with KUB moving basically flat by mid day in the Ambassador's Index. LFC -5.59% and VALE -3.17% along with hard slide on MTL -3.93% are in the red on the Emerging Stock index. Looking at the Emerging ETF index, the FXY +.43% and FXE +.18% remain the only green on the map at roughly the middle of the trading day.
The overall trend of the heat maps suggest the markets will remain cool or in the red for the remainder of the afternoon. Risk off appears continues to be the order of the day with continuing yield seeking in the yen ( FXY ) and the euro fighting to find its footing in mid afternoon trade.
