Welcome to the 10:00 ET emerging markets heat map. This morning we are finding global markets are running cool even after the non-farm payroll in early trading with TM 1.28%, HMC 1.11%, INTC 0.52% slightly up the Emerging Money Global Index, but most equities are flat or tilted to the down side.Looking at the Emerging Stock index, the heat map indicates a flat to risk off move in early trade with BIDU 2.01%, MPEL 1.06% in early trade with MTL 2.66% and CX 1.12% worth mentioning.
Turning to the Emerging ETF index, we find the country ETFs pulling back ahead of the U.S. Fed meeting next week with only EPI (India) in the green by 2.43% -- India also will be holding a central bank meeting next week but are taking action today. THD -1.27% (Thailand), TUR -1.86% (Turkey) are among the hardest hit.
Among currencies, the NFP numbers are pushing the UUP 0.82% higher.
The overall trend of the heat maps are suggesting traders sentiment is changing to risk off going into the weekend.
Check back at 12:30 ET to see if the climb holds.
