Emerald Bay Energy Initiates Drilling Operations on Kuhn 1H; Announces Additional Cross of Common Shares

Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (EBY.V) Friday provided an update on recent events in Guadalupe County, Texas where the company has initiated drilling operations of the first horizontal well (Kuhn 1H) at Wooden Horse. It is anticipated that drilling operations will be completed in early April. Kuhn 1H is being drilled utilizing the data acquired through the vertical "pilot" drilling program on the Kuhn lease. It also reported Friday that on March 21, 2013, two shareholders of the corporation sold an aggregate of 750,000 common shares of the corporation at a price of $0.055 per share to members of the public through the assistance of Mackie Research Capital Corporation.

Emerald Bay, based in Calgary, is a junior oil and gas producer with production properties in Western Canada and South Texas.
