Elemental Minerals Says Last of Preliminary Studies Start in September; Shares Up 1.5%

Elemental Minerals (ELM.TO) has given back half of an early 3% advance, sliding 2 cents off its session high of $1.34 a share after saying an aerial light detection and ranging survey is set to start early next month at its proposed Sintoukola potash project in the Republic of Congo.

The upcoming survey work will assist in developing an extremely high resolution topographical model of the mine site and infrastructure corridors. The final stage of the company's pre-feasibility study also will begin next month to assess the identified project alternatives within the context of the social and environmental requirements.
